Comparatives are words that we use to compare things:
e.g. Mount Everest is higher than the Eiffel Tower.
Take the adjective (“high”), and add “-er” to the end.
e.g. Mont Blanc is high. Mount Everest is higher.
If you are comparing two things in the same sentence, use “than”.
e.g. Mount Everest is higher than Mont Blanc.
But - some adjectives are irregular!
e.g. good -> better
bad -> worse
